Children and Youth

are an important part of our faith community.

We will begin on-line activities for you after school has ended

We do not want to add to the stress of on line school while working at home.

We understand this is a huge adjustment for everyone, parents and youth alike.

Pastor Sara is available to talk to youth as well as adults during this chaotic time.

Youth Participate in Worship

Our Youth are currently participating in worship by sending Videos from home, as acolytes, reading scripture and providing music.

Sunday School

Normally held at 10:15 AM for ages 2 through adult. These weekly sessions expand on the Biblical text, which was the focus of worship. This is achieved though discussion, crafts and other activities. Everyone is encouraged to ask questions.

Youth Ministries

These meetings provide a place where youth can gather with their own age group and explore their faith. Youth participate in study, mission projects, and fellowship activities. Current youth groups are Jr 3rd-5th grade; Middle School 6th-8th grade and Senior High.

Our older youth also participate in wider church activities. Two of our youth serve on the planning team for PSEC Spring and Fall Youth Events, another is serving on the UCC National Youth Event planning team. We have two youth serving as voting delegates at the UCC General Synod. Last year nine youth attend the Eastern Regional Event.

Children are encouraged to explore praising God through music, chimes and dance.
