Children and Youth
Sunday School Activities
takes place during the worship service beginning after Children’s Time. On Communion Sundays, children/younger youth start in Sunday School and then join the congregation at the time of Communion.
Our current curriculum is "Growing in God's Love."
Youth Provide Music during Worship
Maidencreek Church has an amazing Music Director, Kim Ayrton, who loves finding opportunities to feature the musical gifts of youth whether it is through playing solo instruments, choir, with sountracks, boomwackers, bells, band.
Confirmation
Maidencreek Church follows a non traditional schedule. Classes last approximately one year, beginning in January or February with a blessing for those who are in 7th Grade or its equivalent. Confirmation takes place on the First Sunday of Advent. It meets on a monthly basis, with classes lasting about 2 hours, field trips naturally are longer.

Making bread and reflecting on the Sacraments

Learning about Creeds
Youth Mission Trip
A join St. Paul's UCC & Maidencreek ELCA *& UCC youth Mission Experience will be taking place in July. Primary leadership and experience is coming from St. Paul's UCC in Fleetwood. The plan includes work for H.O.M.E Inc. in Orland, Maine. More specifically working on projects in the homes of low income elderly individuals and couples so that they can remain in them. To particiate, youth need to have completed the 7th grade or its equivalent.
Church Camp
