Children and Youth

are an important part of our faith community.

Youth Participate in Worship

Youth actively participate in worship through reading liturgy and scripture, singing, serving as an usher and communion server and movement. Above picture was part of the confession - lifting off what weighs you down

Summer Youth Programs

Summer youth programs include two church camps, youth yoga, scouting faith awards and youth retreats

Sunday School

Held at 10:15 AM for ages 2 through adult. These weekly sessions expand on the Biblical text, which was the focus of worship. This is achieved though discussion, crafts and other activities. Everyone is encouraged to ask questions. Sunday School Registration Form

Youth Ministries

These meetings provide a place where youth can gather with their own age group and explore their faith. Youth participate in study, mission projects, and fellowship activities. Current youth groups are Jr 3rd-5th grade; Middle School 6th-8th grade and Senior High.

Our older youth also participate in wider church activities. Two of our youth serve on the planning team for PSEC Spring and Fall Youth Events, another is serving on the UCC National Youth Event planning team. Nine youth attend the Eastern Regional Event. Last year two of our youth served as voting youth delegates at the National UCC General Synod.

Children are encouraged to explore praising God through music, chimes and dance.
