Sunday School Activities
Our Sunday School begins in worship at 9 AM and ends at approx. 10:15 together with our worship service. During worship, children will be accompanied by their teachers into the Sunday School rooms. Currently, we have two Sunday School Groups:
Pre-K-3rd grade: Godly Play
4th-7th grade: Mini Revolutions
Maidencreek Church has an amazing Music Director, Kim Ayrton, who loves finding opportunities to feature the musical gifts of youth whether it is through playing solo instruments, choir, with sountracks, boomwackers, bells, and band.
Confirmation
All children 7th grade and up are eligible to get confirmed. Confirmation is a one-year program where teenagers have the unique and one-time opportunity learn to reflect on what they believe. Classes begin in January and conclude with the rite of confirmation on the 1st Sunday of Advent, upon which youth will gain full membership in the church.
Activities/lessons include things like:
Wondering about sculptures
The nature of God
Planning a Worship Service
Making bread and reflecting on the Sacraments
